While presenting《Tearless Sky》on stage, Dr Jessie Chung continues to make another breakthrough by showing her genuine love and care for the world in spite of the epidemic.

During this epidemic period, well-known Malaysian artist Dr Jessie Chung, is still determined to continue her fundraising campaign to help cancer patients through her stage performance (which has a total of more than 20 staging sessions, with all seats fully booked). From《Meant to be》,to ancient costume masterpiece, 《Dream of the Red Mansions》,up until now

staging《Tearless Sky》,all these stage drama are meant to inspire Malaysians from all walks of life, to experience the comfort of knowing that there is still hope and warmth in the world.

After the drama 《Dream of the Red Mansions》,Dr Jessie has once again led her team of acting crew members present on stage 《Tearless Sky》, which is adapted from an epic romance story of a novel, staging for approximately 2.5 hours, and conveys the message to the audience that we should all “Learn to send our blessings to others, without having regrets”.

The leading male actor, Terry Lim, was selected as the ‘best candidate’ for the drama 《Dream of the Red Mansions》,amongst the many thousands of others, to take on the acting role of Jia Baoyu, he is also very well loved by the audiences as his acting skills are indeed commendable. In addition, there is another main male character, John Lee, is an American musician as well as an actor who has won a music award in the United States. He composed two songs for the drama 《A Dream of Red Mansions》 which were also very well received.

Jessie, taking on the female leading role, is a character that depicts straight-forwardness, liveliness, at the same time, a heroine who is ever cheerful. She once returned an ornament to the main male character, John Lee, and slowly, the two of them developed mutual affections for each other. However, she found a nursing job later on, and from there, her friendship with the rich man, (Terry Lim) grow from just a mere stranger to someone dear to her. The heroine was caught in between her love relationship and her friendship with the rich man’s son. But ultimately, her experience actually helped her to see the silver lining in blue sky. After the performance has ended, all the crew members come on stage to thank the audience. In return, they also received warm applause from the audience floor. Dr. Jessie waved and bowed to the audience to show her appreciation towards the audience for their support.

The theme song 《Tearless Sky》which shares the same name with the title of the stage play itself, was composed and sung by Dr. Jessie Chung herself affectionately. In addition, Symphony Theatre has also specially created 3 more other interlude songs for the drama, and this include “Together” and “Eternal” where both songs were sung by actor, John Lee. while “Happy Girl” is sung by the leading male actor, Terry Lim.

When Dr. Jessie was asked as to how she kept her energy, and fitness with a slim body on stage, Dr Jessie chuckled a little, and further shared that other than maintaining a healthy diet, it is important to undergo body detox regularly as well as taking healthcare supplements on a daily basis. However, she also emphasized that exercise is also equally important, and that playing ping pong is the best way of exercise in keeping her fitness. Apart from that, she also mentioned that always being contented, cheerful, and stay young at heart, coupled with the guidance from God, is the secret to her success today…
