Artis Antarabangsa Kelahiran Sarawak Jessie Chung Melancarkan EP Pertama Beliau “There You Are”; Melebarkan Sayap Ke Pasaran Bahasa Inggeris

Subang Jaya, 23 Ogos 2016: Dr Jessie Chung, penyanyi antarabangsa, aktres dan usahawan kelahiran Sarawak telah melancarkan EP pertama beliau dalam bahasa Inggeris bertajuk ‘There You Are’ baru-baru ini. Beliau telah pun berjaya menakluki pasaran lagu bahasa Cina sebelum ini.  EP ini merupakan percubaan sulung Dr Jessie ke pasaran bahasa Inggeris bagi meluaskan lagi kejayaan beliau.   EP daripada Dr Jessie Chung akan menampilkan tiga buah lagu “There You Are”, “Drive My Heart” dan “Someplace Honest”.

“Saya tujukan EP ini kepada bapa saya dan juga suami saya,” kata Dr Jessie Chung. “Saya mahu menyampaikan pesan kepada semua bahawa kita patut menghargai orang tersayang ketika mereka masih bersama kita. Saya harap melalui muzik saya dapat mendekati hati pendengar dan menyampaikan mesej ini.”

Dr Jessie menambah, “Saya sangat bertuah kerana di kelilingi oleh ramai penyokong termasuklah orang tersayang, rakan-rakan dan sahabat handai.  Atas sokongan merekalah saya dapat mengembangkan bakat saya yang ada.  Saya tidak takut dengan perubahan dan mahu mencuba sesuatu yang baru.  Saya amat berterima kasih kepada para pendengar lagu-lagu Cina saya atas sambutan yang diberikan selama ini.  Bagi saya sudah tiba masanya saya memasuki pasaran bahasa Inggeris dan membawa muzik saya ke peringkat antarabangsa.”

Dr Jessie telah menerbitkan tujuh buah album lain, antaranya Home, Loving You, Message of Love from the Moon, Love in You, I Just Fall in Love Again, dan Tearless Sky.  Lagu single beliau "Love in You" telah dipilih sebagai lagu tema untuk siri TV Korea My Secret Garden di Taiwan. Album terakhir Jessie Chung telah melonjak naik ke tempat ke-4 dalam I Radio Top Hits Chart dan tempat ke-6 Pop Radio Top Ten Music Chart dalam masa dua minggu sahaja selepas diterbitkan di Taiwan.

‘There You Are’ diterbitkan oleh Andy James Court, pemuzik veteran dari Australia yang terkenal dengan gaya rock ‘n’ roll di peringkat awal kerjaya beliau. Beliau telah memenangi lebih tiga puluh anugerah muzik antarabangsa dan merupakan penerima Anugerah Lagu terbaik 2015. Muzik video pula telah diarahkan dan diterbitkan oleh Elijah Cavanagh, pengarah filem dari Brisbane, Australia. 

 “Rakaman untuk video muzik There You Are cukup mencabar,” kata Jessie. “kami menghabiskan masa selama dua hari dua malam membuat rakaman sekitar Brisbane dan Gold Coast. Suhunya sangat sejuk sehingga mencecah 10 darjah Celsius tetapi saya tidak dapat memakai baju sejuk untuk memanaskan badan. Rakaman yang tidak boleh dilupakan adalah di tepi pantai. Saya hampir terjatuh semasa berjalan pada cerun yang curam menghadap laut. Mujurlah saya dapat berdiri semula menggunakan kemahiran wushu yang saya pelajari.”

Penerbit Andy memuji suara emas dan teknik vokal Jessie semasa rakaman dibuat yang melebihi jangkaan penerbit yang hebat ini. Beliau sangat gembira dapat bekerja dengan penyanyi kelahiran Sarawak ini. Semasa rakaman, Jessie dengan mudah dapat memenuhi semua permintaan Andy. Tona, pic dan emosi Jessie cukup sempurna dan enak didengar. Apa yang membuatkan Andy terkejut adalah walaupun Jessie tidak menggunakan bahasa Inggeris sejak kecil, beliau telah dapat menjiwai seni kata dengan penuh bermakna sehinggakan mendapat pujian semasa sesi rakaman.

国际艺人钟洁希推出首张英文迷你专辑《 There You Are》； 勇敢展翅翱翔、进军英文市场

（梳邦再也2016年8月23日讯）来自砂拉越的国际歌星、演员兼企业家钟洁希博士，日前发布了首张个人英文迷你专辑（EP）——《There You Are》。多才多艺的钟洁希博士在华人市场已取得了辉煌的佳绩。如今将再接再厉，势必以这张迷你专辑打进英文市场。该专辑收录了三首来自钟洁希博士的新歌，即《There You Are》、《Drive My Heart》，以及《Someplace Honest》。

《There You Are》由安迪·詹姆斯·库特（Andy James Court）负责制作。这位知名的澳洲资深音乐人，在其事业初期以摇滚乐曲红遍各地。他曾荣获超过30个国际音乐奖项，同时也是2015年‘最佳年度歌曲’的得奖者。有关歌曲的音乐视频，则由来自澳洲布里斯本的著名导演伊莱贾·加瓦那（Elijah Cavanagh）负责拍摄和制作。

“拍摄这支音乐录音带“There You Are” 很艰辛”, 钟洁希 说 “我们花了两天两夜行驶整个布里斯班和黄金海岸来拍摄MV。那里很冷，差不多十度而且我不能穿毛衣来取暖。最难忘的拍摄是在一个海边， 当我走在海岸的悬崖旁时差点掉下去，幸好我有我的武功底子才得以站稳脚步。

在录制音乐录影带过程中，监制Andy称赞钟洁希的歌声和和声乐技巧超出了他的期望，她的

International Artiste Jessie Chung Launches Her First English EP “There You Are”; Spreading Her Wings Into the English Market

Subang Jaya, 23 August 2016: Dr Jessie Chung, a Sarawak-born international singer, actress, and entrepreneur, launched her first English EP ‘There You Are’ recently. She has already taken on the Chinese market with great success.  Spreading her wings further, this EP will be Dr Jessie’s launch pad for entry into the English market.   Dr Jessie Chung’s EP will feature three songs “There You Are”, “Drive My Heart” and “Some Place Honest”.

“I would like to dedicate this EP to both my father and my husband,” said Dr Jessie Chung. “I want to tell everyone that it is important to cherish your loved ones while they are still alive and I hope that, through my music, I am able to touch the hearts of many and get this message across.”

Dr Jessie adds, “I am very fortunate to be always surrounded by good people that have my best interest – be it my loved ones, friends and colleagues.  And it is because of them that I have the courage to spread my wings and fly.  I am not afraid of change, and to try new things.  So far, I am very grateful that the Chinese market has accepted my work.  I think it is timely to move into the English market and to make my music truly international.”

Dr Jessie has released seven other albums, notably Home, Loving You, Message of Love from the Moon, Love in You, I Just Fall in Love Again, and Tearless Sky.  Her single "Love in You" was selected as the theme song for the Korean TV series My Secret Garden in Taiwan. Jessie Chung’s last album rose to fourth place on the I Radio Top Hits Chart and 6th place on the Pop Radio Top Ten Music Chart in Taiwan, just within two weeks of her initial release.

‘There You Are’ is produced by Andy James Court, a renowned Australian veteran musician who is known for his rock ‘n’ roll style during the early years of his career. He has won over thirty international music awards and was the recipient of the 2015 Song of the Year Award. The music video was filmed and produced by Elijah Cavanagh, a film director from Brisbane, Australia. 

“The filming of the music video for There You Are has been such a journey,” said Jessie. “We spent two days and nights, travelling on the road throughout Brisbane and Gold Coast to shoot the music video. It was very cold at around 10 degrees Celsius, but I was not allowed to wear a sweater to keep myself warm. The most unforgettable moment was the one at the beach.  As I was walking on the top of the cliff next to the ocean, I nearly fell down, but luckily, being trained with Wushu skills, I was able to maintain my balance.”

At the recording sessions, producer Andy praised Jessie for her beautiful voice and vocal techniques which were beyond his expectations. He was very surprised, during production, how easily she fulfilled all his requirements; her tone, pitch, and emotions were perfect. What surprised him even more was that Jessie, who isn’t a native English speaker, accentuated well when she sang, and he praised generously.

Dr Jessie’s artist manager in Australia, Jonathan Timm said, “As her artist manager, I am privileged to work with her and to introduce her into the Australian market. I’ve listened to three songs in the album, and I love them. What’s really different about these songs are that they are big songs; like “anthems” played at stadiums, moving all those that sing along with it.  As for the music video, I found the aesthetics clean and polished, and, of course, Jessie looks amazing in it. I think her fans are going to love it.”

“My goal is to help her achieve the widest exposure and acceptance in the English-speaking markets, and this includes the Australian and the global markets through different forms of distribution, especially digital marketing. The change of image is part of the plan as well. In this English EP, we have created a new image for her, portraying a different side of Jessie who is energetic yet fun-loving,” Timm added. “We are all so excited to introduce this new image of her!”

钟洁希与粉丝们一起为一哥打气 《月光》延开变半夜场

（槟城20日讯）从吉隆坡班师北上的《月光》舞台剧搬至槟城表演艺术中心(Penang PAC)，槟岛的首场演出时间竟巧遇里约奥运羽球男单总决赛，于是大会决定把《月光》延后改为“半夜场”。原定于晚上8时30分开演的《月光》，因着群众的爱国热情，不惜将舞台剧的开演时间延后至晚上10时30分，让出席的粉丝们一同在会场的大荧幕前观赏球赛，支持李宗伟到底。坐在幕后的钟洁希、演员们及工作人员，也个个守在大荧幕前，见证这场决定性的球赛。

钟洁希表示，她自己是李宗伟的粉丝，本身也非常喜欢打羽球。这次从澳洲完成新专辑There You Are的制作后，想不到回国后竟然有这样的机缘巧合，让她有机会能够和粉丝们一同观赏球赛。可惜的是，演出还没进行，她不允许到台下和粉丝们会面，但其实她完全能感受到会场的热情，因为她和演员们一直都台上的侧幕观看大荧幕。

“李宗伟得分的时候，大家都一起欢呼，这种感觉很棒！”钟洁希表示，能够和大马粉丝们一起为马来西亚打气，这还是前所未有的经历。

直到晚上10时30分球赛结束后，粉丝们依然坐不离席的等待着《月光》，直到午夜1时许，舞台剧结束后，粉丝们才各自回家。

为癌症患者筹款的《月光》舞台剧以全中文发音，并打出英文字幕，照顾不同族群观众。舞台则以LED打出不同背景，钟洁希一直以秋冬造型亮相，扮演一个感情世界错综复杂的角色“杨晓凡”。

这部由文学作品改编，70%是钟洁希亲身爱情体验的真人真事《月光》舞台剧。钟洁希曾表示自己现实中也曾陷入一段三角恋，结局更以自己书里《洁希日记》的“你最爱的人未必是最适合你的人，但是最适合你的人，将会成为你最爱的人”与大家共勉之。

钟洁希澳洲拍摄MV险落悬崖

钟洁希演出8场《月光》舞台剧引起全国的轰动，分别在8月20日及21日槟城Penang Pac的《月光》舞台剧门票也一扫而空。目前澳洲娱乐制作公司更决定安排钟洁希的最新英文专辑《There You Are》MV在澳洲取景拍摄。

为此MV澳洲娱乐制作公司特邀澳洲著名导演Elijah担任制作。澳洲唱片公司也集结了一班专业的澳洲制作团队共同为钟洁希打造非凡的专辑MV。从策划、筹备、拍摄、录制、取景及后期工作，全由他们一手包办。

洁希坦言拍摄过程确实辛苦，凌晨四点就出发往拍摄地点，温度摄氏10度；衣衫单薄的洁希更冷得手脚僵硬，但她还是强忍着低温完成了这次的拍摄。最令她难忘的是在悬崖边取景，导演要她走向前方边唱边走，洁希差点失脚落崖，幸亏有武功底子的她立时稳住，才不致酿成大祸。

此外，一行人驱车通往悬崖狭小的路径上，司机飞车行驶差点失控出意外。虽然这次洁希尝尽苦头，她还是非常享受这次的MV制作过程。她也说到，其中导演要求钟洁希身穿性感睡衣在床上拍摄，为了求好心切，钟洁希只好“牺牲色相” 。

Hiatus from Malaysian Entertainment Industry

Immediately after finishing the tenth performance of her Exquisite Chinese Orchestra Concert, the eighth showing of herMoonlight Stage Play, and her tenth year anniversary, Jessie Chung was urged by Warner Music and her Australian music production company to finish recording her new album in Australia. With such a tight schedule, she had a hard time catching her breath during the last few months. As a matter of fact, this new album has already been prepared as early as April this year. However, in order to raise funds for the cancer foundation, Jessie Chung was forced to put it off to devote herself fully in charity.

Jessie Chung, who was previously wholly dedicated in the Moonlight Stage Play, had to leave the limelight of the Malaysian stage so she could finish up the production of her upcoming album. Nevertheless, Jessie has stated that she would find time to take part in the touring stage play. She wishes that more cancer patients will be benefited from the charity events.

Jessie Chung’s new English album, There You Are contains a total of eight songs, including two slow rock ballads, two up-tempo rock songs, and four instrumentals. For Jessie, who typically sings midtempo and soulful songs, this is a new challenge. Currently, she has finished three songs, and producer Andy has expressed his satisfaction with Jessie.

After leaving the stage he continued to devote himself in the music industry by composing songs and writing lyrics for singers all around the world. Producer Gives Two Thumbs Up

Producer Andy has stated that Jessie’s voice and vocal techniques are beautiful and beyond his expectations. He was very surprised after working with her. During production, Jessie easily fulfilled all his requirements; her tone, pitch, and emotions were all picture-perfect. Andy said that during production, many singers have a hard time attaining perfection and therefore require the producer to put in a lot of time during audio post production. However, Jessie’s voice is very suitable for rock, so production was quite a breeze for him.

What surprised him even more was that Jessie, who isn’t a native English speaker, sang with such an accurate accent that he couldn’t help but put two thumbs up at one point during the recording session. Andy only used two hours to finish recording the track Forever Young. After the session, he exclaimed, “This is what I call world-class!”

Jessie's new English album There You Are is expected to be officially released in August. As for the fashion styling and album's design, Jessie has revealed that it will be done in a Western-styled rock concept; when the time comes, everyone will be able to see a fresh, new “Western-styled Jessie”. In order to retain the Western flavor of the songs, the four MVs will be shot in Australia.

刚完成10场巡回《倾城国色》华乐演唱会和 8场巡回《月光》舞台剧的钟洁希，在结婚10周年庆典后，还没来得及喘一口气，就被澳洲音乐制作公司和华纳唱片公司催促，而马不停蹄飞往澳洲制作新专辑。此次新专辑其实早在今年4月份已做好预约，可是后来为了癌症基金的筹款，钟洁希不得不暂时推辞，而跻身在慈善活动中。

原本全心投身在《月光》舞台剧的钟洁希，因着新专辑的录制工作，惟有暂时告别马来西亚舞台。但洁希表示，新专辑录制完成过后，她还是会抽空参与舞台剧的演出，希望能够为更多的癌症病人筹款。

制作人安迪表示，钟洁希的歌声和唱功出乎他想象的优美，让他感到非常意外。在专辑录制过程中，洁希都轻易地达到他的要求，不论气声、抖音、情感及其他歌唱技巧等都唱到非常到位和专业。安迪透露说，有很多歌手在录音时，总是达不到完美要求，所以往往需要大量的后期修饰功夫。但洁希的歌声很适合唱摇滚乐，所以对她并不需要多加修饰。

更让他惊讶的是，没想到身为亚洲人的洁希，英文发音竟然如此标准，让他在录音时忍不住给她比了个“双赞”。在录制“Forever Young”的时候，安迪只用2小时就完成录音，然后赞叹的说：“这就是世界级水准！”

钟洁希的英文新专辑《There you are》预计在8月份正式发行。至于专辑的形象设计，钟洁希只透露说会以西洋摇滚为主要概念，到时大家将看到耳目一新的“西洋钟洁希”。为了保留歌曲的西洋风格，专辑的4首MV将在澳洲取景拍摄。
